Privacy policy
The short version
Drawn reads your workouts from Apple Health and draws them. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no third-party code in the app at all.
What Drawn reads
With your permission, Drawn reads the following from Apple Health:
- Workouts, and the statistics attached to them
- Workout routes
- Heart rate
- Steps
- Active energy
- Distance
- Workout effort scores, where your device records them
It reads these to draw your year and your month, and to build the cards you can share. It writes nothing back to Apple Health, and it never asks for permission to do so.
You can refuse any of it, or withdraw it later, in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Drawn. Drawn keeps working; it will have less to draw.
What Drawn stores
A copy of your workout summaries is kept on your device so the app opens without waiting. That file lives in the app’s own storage, is excluded from iCloud and device backups, and is deleted when you delete the app. Your settings are stored on the device in the same way.
What Drawn sends
Nothing. Drawn has no networking code. Your health data never leaves your phone unless you choose to share a card yourself, and then it goes only where you send it.
Purchases
The one-off unlock is handled entirely by Apple. Drawn does not see your payment details, and Apple does not tell it who you are.
Children
Drawn is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
